19/08/2008 : All things come to an end! (rates nerf and up)

The new rates :

#1 - Solo XP remains at x25, but party XP becomes x2. So go get your friends to xp like a fool!^^

#2 - SP rate, intially at x50, becomes now x25. Choose carefully your skills...!

#3 - Adena rate, initially at x250, is now at x125.

#4 - Spoil drop rate remains at x250.

can u consider puttin a class changer because its very booring with the quest ?

No class changer, sorry. You got to deserve playing your class!

Sry to contradict u on the issue of the class changer but some of us are sick of quests. We DO NOT have the time to spare doing them. We have done them all and given NCSoft a wad of cash in the process. A few stolen hours from family, work, sleep is all that is now left for L2. And u want us to waste them on quests that are known by heart? If u want a server full of youngsters (who have all day to fool around) - ditto.
Unfortunately, the majority of cool, pro players are in the same boat - until L2 is slowly forced out of our systems by the adverse effect of time, responsibility, circumstance, and fades into nothing more than a loving memory.
Make a compromise - to help us "old ones" - do not put a class changer, but let the quest items be available in say "The Luxury Shop" for a price consistent with the adena drop rate. That way one can have the choice - do quest (if time is at hand), or buy item and carry on.
Same goes for the NPC Buffer - Have one that gives basic essential buffs, put a Luxury (full) NPC buffer in Clan Halls only.
Regarding buff duration - I have played enough servers to firmly state that anything less than 40 min. - suxx. Imagine having to go after the mobs in Eva's Garden (bottom) - at full speed, making mob trains and relog/log u are there in 13 - 15 min and have only 4 - 5 min. buffs left. Even NCSoft have realized this and, in the latest Gracia expansion have made Support magic available up to lvl 62.

I think that the server should have either auto learn skills, or no spellbooks required >.>

I ear and understand this point of view, though I rather think than keeping the class quests tends to bring more premium players on the server. Class changer, NPC buffs and high rates mean kiddies and a bad community from what I experienced so far....^^

Regarding the "stolen hours from family, work, sleep", it's a choice you made whether you wanna spend time playing or not....^^ Considering the current xp and drop rates, you should not "waste" that much time on this server^^

Regarding buffs, forget what you learned with L2 here : there won't be any buffer class. All classes will get most of the buffs they need, so no worries.

it is a fun .... BUT you should change quest item drop rate cuz when i was doing my 2nd class quest the mob was green and i must kill 80 mobs for 10 quest items .... so looking on exp rate it dont get along ... so plz just if u can change it ... and ye ss and bss are maybe making that even harder but it is ok
